Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) consists of several devices, nodes or terminals which are connected wirelessly and capable to communicate with each other nodes without any pre-existing infrastructure. MANET is considered as autonomous system were mobile hosts are connected using wireless links and free to be dynamic were configuration may change time to time. The nodes in the MANET have the liberty of moving around the network without boundaries also nodes may join and Leave the network as per their need. Due to this, MANET is considered as insecure. Because of dynamic network topology Denial of service attacks (DoS) are challenging in MANET. In order to have a secure system, the proposed method provides some security mechanism. The proposed system consists of Enhanced Integrated Central Manager (EICM) algorithm to detect and prevent DOS attacks in Wireless infrastructure. The algorithm maintains several tables and observes the activities of the nodes in the network.
